Grind 5K Run/Walk at Beck's Mill - September 13th |

T‍he run begins at 9:00am and participants will receive breakfast by Shady Patch as part of their entry fee. A BBQ begins at 11:00 am and is sponsored by Mt Carmel, Tyson and Walmart. A local Mustang Car Club will be displaying about 20 cars at 2:00pm.

‍Explore the Monon South Trail - Now Open |
|
‍The Monon South Trail section through Salem is now open for walking and cyclists! This section is 2.7 miles in length, all of which is paved. In addition to the trail segment, the Monon South Trail team dedicated the Salem Boxcar earlier in the year. The boxcar will serve as a trailhead landmark for the Monon South Trail in Salem for years to come. Park your car at the Boxcar Trailhead parking area.Â

Phase 1A of the project was completed in June 2025 and opened approximately 20 miles of trail through Borden, New Pekin, Salem, Saltillo, Campbellsburg, Orleans, and Mitchell.Â

‍Bike Night on the Salem Square - September 20th |

‍Just a chance to everyone to wind down from the benefit/Charity ride of the day or just to meet up and just meet other bikers in the area. All motorcycles welcome. Bikers tend to park on the East (shady) shady side of the square. There is plenty to do at this event. You have several things to do within walking distance from the venue. Also, this is a kid friendly event. So if you have you kiddo with you, bring them out. Food Truck: Schocke's Food Truck will be serving up the BBQ. |

The ARCA Series Returns to Salem Speedway - September 20th |
|
The Salem Speedway takes its place on the Annual ARCA schedule alongside famous tracks such as Daytona, Bristol, Charlotte and Talladega.
‍The ARCA Menards Series 200 lap event will be held on Saturday, September 20th, that event will be promoted once again by Track Enterprises. That race will be the 111th ARCA Menards Series event held at Salem Speedway.

The Mike’s Mufflers & Brakes Crown Vic Big Track Series will also be in action that night as a support division prior to the ARCA Menards Series 200 lap feature.
