RACING BEGINS AT THE SALEM SPEEDWAY - APRIL 6TH
For over 65 years Salem Speedway has enjoyed the recognition of being one of the most unique and renowned racetracks in America. Salem is a track steeped in history with many of the giants in auto racing having competed on the treacherous “hills” at some point in their careers. Situated in the scenic hills of southern Indiana, the Salem Speedway roars to life with upwards of 12-15 “Special Events” per year.

CRUISE'N ON THE SALEM SQUARE - APRIL 11TH
Visit the Salem Square on the 2nd Friday of the month during the warmer months for a walk around the square. Enjoy the classic cars, pickup trucks, hot rods, and muscle cars as they park around the courthouse. Exhibitors from across Southern Indiana will be glad to share the details of their wonderful automobiles with you. Cars will begin to line up at 5:00pm.

BECK'S MILL SPRING WILDFLOWER WALK AND CHICKEN BARBEQUE - APRIL 12TH
Hike begins at 10 am, $10.00 and requires a reservation by calling and leaving a message at 812-883-5147. Hike will be led by DNR naturalist, Jeremy Beavin. Chicken Barbecue begins at 11:00am. Meal includes 2 sides for $9.00 and benefits the mill & Mt. Carmel Cemetery fund. Special thanks to grillers Louis Courtney, Jim & Trent Woodward. Sponsored by Tyson & Walmart.

KNOBSTONE 50 - APRIL 19TH
The Knobstone 50, a point-to-point 50-mile trail running race along the Knobstone Trail from Deam Lake to Delaney Creek Park. The KT is often described as one of the most challenging trails in the state and commonly referred to as “The Little AT” due to its steep, hilly landscape, reminiscent of the Appalachian Mountains. The course travels Northward from Deam Lake State Park to Delaney Creek Park, accumulating roughly 10,000ft of elevation gain throughout.

BECK'S MILL FIBER REVIVAL - MAY 17TH
This event features the very rare running of both the carding machines! The Fiber Revival activities will begin at 10:00am. The carding machines are dated to 1816 and considered the oldest in the country...only 5 are left to our knowledge & our 2 are the mills originals! The carding machines were restored in 2007-2008 at the Lovett Mill in Tennessee. Many sheep to Shaw demonstrations...sheep shearing, spinning classes, felting classes, dyeing classes, weaving, quilting, hand carding, crochet and knitting.

LONE STAR RODEO AT COUNTY FAIR - JUNE 16TH AND 17TH
For generations, Lone Star Rodeo has held a unique place in the rodeo community, setting itself apart through dedication to excellence and family tradition. They honor the classic elements of rodeo while continually enhancing the experience for modern audiences, blending timeless competition with fresh entertainment. Lone Star brings the rodeo to the Washington County Fair this summer.

BECK'S MILL 217TH BIRTHDAY PARTY - AUGUST 23RD
Featuring The Corydon Dulcimer Society playing at 11:30am, birthday cake provided by Walmart, spinning, blacksmithing and tomahawk throwing. Special adult admission of $2.17. Blue River Fire Department will serve food (Pulled pork BBQ, Coleslaw, Baked beans and Chips). Craft and flea market vendors will be onsite. Beck’s Mill Moonshine History by Alan Bishop. BECK'S MILL OKTOBERFEST/CORNMEAL BAKE-OFF - OCTOBER 25TH
Celebrating the Beck German Heritage. Music all day, spinning, knitting, crocheting, blacksmithing, tomahawk throwing demonstrations. Parking lot activities: Featuring Jason Hardin’s campfire beans, Cornmeal bake off drop off at 11 am to 11:45 am. Entry must contain at least 1/2 cup of Becks Mill cornmeal (white or yellow), inc recipe and in a non returnable dish. Prize will be given. Cornmeal can be purchased at the mill or Nana’s This n That Shop on the square. Leftovers will be served with the campfire beans. Flea & craft vendors.
