Fat Goat Farm is a 9 acre diversified farm located in the rolling hills of Salem. Fat Goat Farm uses cover cropping and goat power to create fertile soils. They consistently work on enhancing the soils so they can grow strong crops. Their goal is to maintain a healthy ecosystem around the farm, encouraging native plants, insects, and wildlife to coexist throughout. The self-serve Farm Stand is open daily from 9:00am - 7:00pm with vegetables picked every morning. Vegetables change depending on the season. Visit the Tasteful by the Taylors food stand from 7:30am - 7:30pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Cash and Venmo payment options available. Each week the stand will have a variety of sourdough breads and yeast breads, cookies, and cinnamon rolls. When in season, they will have fresh garden produce as well.
