Fat Goat Farm is a 9 acre diversified farm located in the rolling hills of Salem. Fat Goat Farm uses cover cropping and goat power to create fertile soils. They consistently work on enhancing the soils so they can grow strong crops. Their goal is to maintain a healthy ecosystem around the farm, encouraging native plants, insects, and wildlife to coexist throughout.
The self-serve Farm Stand is open daily from 9:00am - 7:00pm with vegetables picked every morning. Vegetables change depending on the season. Seasonal items include raspberries, lettuce, kale, cucumbers, zucchini, tomatoes, watermelons and winter squash.
Perishable items kept cool in the fridge during warm weather.
